Kooper is here!

Kooper arrived on November 28, 2008 at 2:12 am via csection after 8 hours of labor and 2 hours of pushing. I will post more photos later.

40 weeks 2 days - Due Date Has Come And Gone.

Well Baby Kooper you due date has come and gone and you are still hanging tight in mom's belly. Daddy and I are so excited to meet you and you keep holding out on us. Who knew this waiting would be this hard? We are counting the hours or days until you decide to come join us.

39 weeks 1 day - Can my belly get any bigger?

37 weeks 4 days

We have had no progress in getting the little one here. He is hanging out in there and seems to be comfortable. Hopefully next week we will see some change.

34 Weeks

The weeks are coming to a close. We can't wait to meet you Kooper! Daddy and I took a birthing class this weekend. Daddy is ready to coach mommy and get you here safe and sound.

Double Rainbow

Last week we had our first rain in 20 something days. After the rain there was a beautiful double rainbow over our house. Enjoy!

New Daddy's Tool Belt

The daddy-to-be was given a tool belt to tackle all the new duties to come. The belt included wipes, hand sanitizer, gloves, goggles, face mask, tongs, bib, travel kit, pacifiers and a poncho. Here he is modeling his new accessory.

Couples Shower - Thank You Andy and Steph!

We had our last shower on Saturday night. What a great time we had. Everyone was so generous and The Ponzio's out did themselves. Thank you everyone!

Online Shower Gift

My online buddy group had our online shower today. We were paired up with someone in the group and exchanged gifts. Here is what my buddy (Emily) sent me for Kooper.

The generosity of people is just amazing. Kooper received so many wonderful gifts this weekend. We can't wait to get to use everything. Thank you to everyone who came to the shower. Over the weekend we had our first baby shower for Kooper. What a lucky boy he is. He got so many wonderful things from his Grammy's wonderful friends. I am still in awe of all the love he has already received and he is not here yet.

Week 28 - 12 more to go!

We had our 28 week apt today. All was well. We have now graduated to visits every 2 weeks.

Nursery Weekend

Kooper's Grammy and Granny came this weekend and did the nursery. What a wonderful job they did. The pictures do not do it justice. We can't wait to bring Kooper home and show him all the hard work they did. We know he will love it.

We have made some progress on the nursery. We are using a puppy theme. Here is a dresser I did for his closet.

We Are Half Way - 20 Week Scan

Can you believe it has been 20 weeks? We can't! It seems like only yesterday we were digesting the news of a baby on the way. What a great day that was. We are looking forward to November and welcoming the newest Hennessy. Time really is flying by.

We had our 20 week anatomy scan on Tuesday. Everything looked great. He was swimming around and being very photogenic. He weighs 14 oz and is right on track. All his organs and development looked normal. Kendrick and I had a great time getting to see him again.
